SPRING IS HERE and summer is approaching within the next month. It’s the perfect time to enjoy the amazing weather outside.

I spent a good portion of my evening sipping on E.H. Taylor Jr. whiskey at a restaurant called Under the Cork Tree. It is located in the shopping center called PRADO, north of Atlanta in Sandy Springs.
I had never dined at the location, but I have tasted their food all around Atlanta as they have a tent in the Taste of Atlanta and I have no problem boasting that their food was my favorite of the entire festival.
So onto the Whiskey and Dinner Pairing! We had a private section of the restaurant and I truly enjoyed the location, because we were seating near the bar, where a lot of natural light shines through. Perfect setup for a date night location.
Pictured below are a couple of my IG Stories which features the delicious bites. Each dish was curated to pair nicely with each whiskey. My favorite by far was the dessert: Strawberry and Lemon Napoleon with the Four Grain Whiskey. The whiskey cut the sweetness of the dessert. After all of the tasting, everyone that attended the tasting became friends!
