**UPDATE**
As you guys know, I went to the Taste of Buckhead last week and I am happy to report, it definitely ranked top 5 of the best events of the year in Atlanta. I know that’s a bold statement, but it lives up to the hype. I actually feel sad for anyone who missed it, but no fear – it is an annual event. Definitely, buy tickets early and as always, I’ll keep you in the loop. Let’s get to the things you really want to know- huge portions for food, barely any lines, drinks never ran out, it was SO MUCH FUN, and you’ll want to go next year and every year after. The drinks were flowing and the food was plentiful – check out some of the photos below.
Gas South really came through as the primary sponsor. We were all given these spiffy plates and wine glasses on arrival which perfectly fit together to easily get more food and cocktails.
VIP is worth it. Each VIP guest had access to a private area with more seating and vendors. We were also given the biggest goodie bag I have ever seen, packed with deals to enjoy more businesses throughout Buckhead. Actually, tonight I’m having dinner at Chama Brazilian Steakhouse for two – thanks to Taste of Buckhead VIP ticket.
The Taste of Buckhead was hosted at the ASW Distillery and was completely decked out with live music, beautiful decor, a fun photo booth and delicious food. My favorite cocktail was a Moscow Mule made with Spirit Whiskey.
Five out of five stars. I hope to see you next year. Did you attend the Taste of Buckhead? What were your favorite dishes and cocktails? Let’s keep the conversation going on Twitter.
There is nothing nicer than sipping on a cocktail while waiting for the chef’s latest creation to approach your table. On date night, many people wonder “Which restaurant should I go to?”
I highly recommend reading reviews on Google and Yelp; however, people tend to be biased. A reviewer could encounter a waiter on their worst day ever (overworked and understaffed restaurant week) or a reviewer could be best friends with the bartender and get free drinks (see: five star reviews).
At the end of the day, you can trust yourself and your experience. One of the best way to sample breweries, delicious bites and desserts is to check out the Taste of Buckhead. This is the perfect date night as you have your way with unlimited amounts of foods and cocktails from restaurants and breweries from all over Buckhead. The event starts at 6PM and will be hosted at the The Stave Room: 199 Armour Dr NE, Atlanta, GA 30324.
