Think of this place as an upscale sports bar with amazing food. You can dress up or down: you’ll feel comfortable either way. Known as the neighborhood sports bar, there are a ton of televisions, so you won’t miss any angle of the action. What I truly appreciated is that I could hear my date! Great ambirance and their establishment is very inviting. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you’ll have a great time.
HIGHLIGHTS (THINGS YOU SHOULD ORDER)
Beef Carpaccio – thinly sliced meat that melts in your mouth with fried capers and sharp parmesan cheese. Trust me, I’ve traveled all over Europe and this is the best carpaccio I’ve ever had. ORDER IT – thank me later. I ordered it twice and I’m still thinking about it.
Dantanna’s is known for their STEAKS. You won’t go wrong with the top sirloin, filet mignon or if you’re really hungry – the cowboy cut ribeye.
I can’t go on without mentioning their pork chops. I wanted to order seafood, but I was torn…conflicted. I’m not a big pork chops fan, but I heard it’s one of the best items on the menu. Listen, when I took a bite – I had to take a moment. It was bursting with flavor – the apple bourbon sauce really hit the spot. I’m officially a fan of pork chops- well, maybe only from here. I left feeling full and very satisfied.
You can’t visit Georgia without tasting a Krispy Kreme Doughnut, so what better way to get your fix by trying Dantanna’s Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding? It’s made with cinnamon, espresso, and topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Sinfully, good.
