So, you have already binged watched all your favorite shows on Netflix and you’re wondering – what’s a good idea for a night out in Atlanta. Don’t worry – I’ve got you covered. It’s time for a bar crawl.
I had an amazing time, hosted by Atlanta Bar Crawls., dancing the night away to classic 80s and 90s tunes during “The Decades Crawl.”
If you have never been to a bar crawl – let me break this all the way down. You don’t have to be a big drinker to attend a bar crawl event. If you are one – no judgment. I’m not the biggest drinker myself and I had a blast. All you need is the desire to have a good time and be over the age of 21.
All the locations are within walking distance. There is a central meeting point where the bar crawl starts. You will make new friends. There will be drink specials and possibly a photo booth. There are many advantages of joining a bar crawl vs. venturing out on the City on your own, such as instant friends at every location along the route and entry (without a cover) to various restaurants, clubs, and bars.
We checked in at Ri-Ra Irish Pub in Midtown. As we checked in, we were given a choice of neon colored fanny packs and our lanyards that gave us access to over 6+ bars and lounges as well discounts on beverages and bites.
The highlights of the night were the photo booth section of Ri Ra Irish Pub, the dance floor of Sutra Lounge and the alcoholic slushies from Flip Flops. That’s right – Flip Flops is a beach style bar that serves over ten different kinds of alcoholic slushies.
Atlanta Bar Crawls has events throughout the year and they are hosting their – FIRST ANNUAL TACO CRAWL on August 19, 2017. That’s right – stand back Taco Tuesday, it’s about it get real.
