Welcome to Whiskies of the World Atlanta 2017!
We are excited to be at the Westin Buckhead this year. We have over 250 whiskies from which to choose at this year’s event! The complete pour list is available on the website through the Featured Brands page.
How to maximize your experience:
Drink plenty of water the day before the event. You want to be hydrated. Whisky samples will be 0.25 oz. in order to fully enjoy the aroma. Do not drink the full sample. You only need a small portion of this for tasting or better yet, take thesample in your mouth for the flavor, then rinse it back into your glass and dump. Each table will have a dump bucket to dispose of the remainder of your sample. This allows you to try more whiskies and learn more from our wonderful ambassadors. Drink water between each sample. We are looking forward to seeing you Saturday at 5pm for VIP and 6pm for General Admission!
Dress Code:
Whiskies of the World is a classy night out on the town for all of our attendees! We encourage you to dress up, especially wearing kilts, dinner jackets and party dresses. We know you will love the ambience of The Westin Buckhead and being among fellow attendees all decked out for a fancy evening! No t-shirts, shorts, flip flops, torn clothing or exercise wear is allowed. Thanks!

You can use it to score whisky, takes notes, find all VIP pours on one screen, order product, and plan your whisky route to be sure you get to all the whiskies you want to try! (Please note: it is designed for smart phones and may not work properly on your desktop.) Our partner retailers are offering a 10% discount on all orders of $100 or more than come in by Nov. 14th. Prices listed in the Mobile Event Program are suggested retail prices and are included to provide you an estimate. The retailer you select may have better prices and will contact you with correct pricing and availability.
Masterclasses available. We still have a few seats left in two of our masterclasses. Robert Ferrera from Pernod Ricard offer you a taste of some fantastic Non Age Statement whiskies and as you explore them, he will help you understand why they are so exciting and innovative. You will get to taste some whiskies exclusive to this class, and not available on thefloor. Gordon and MacPhail present a class comparing some of their independently bottled Scotches to similar distillery bottlings to help you understand just how amazing independently bottled Scotch can be! Dram Club Party:
Introducing the Atlanta Dram Club for $25 a year. Dram club provides special promotions from partner liquor stores and a free members only Dram Club party. The 2017 Atlanta Dram Club party will be Friday Nov. 3 at a location near Midtown. There will be 8+ whisky suppliers in attendance, each creating a special experience with their product from mixology to food pairing. Participants include: Independent Distilling, ASW Distillery, Belle Meade, High West, Russell’s Reserve, Lazy Guy, Amrut, Stalk and Barrel, Benromach, Wild Turkey.
