Below is my review from last year! You don’t want to miss this.

Atlanta has finally hosted its first INTERNATIONAL NIGHT MARKET and I cannot be more thrilled.  Imagine 70+ countries represented with over 200 independent vendors as they demonstrate so many aspects of their culture through food, beverages, music, and art.

As a Culinary Local Ambassador, I had the pleasure to attend this event and I plan to attend every year moving forward.  This 3 day event took place at Northlake Mall and had free parking for all. With over 800 food vendors, this is definitely your opportunity to TASTE THE WORLD. On Friday night, they offered a VIP section with an open bar and a luxurious setup with comfy chairs and tables. Food trucks watch out – there was a cocktail truck, offering up some slushy delights.

The market was divided into villages:

  • Artist Village featured unique, handmade arts and crafts from international artists.

  • The Kid-Zone Village is packed with a larger than life inflated dinosaur. It’s pretty epic. It also featured cultural games, imaginative arts and crafts and kid-friendly foods.

  • The Specialty Drinks & Desserts Village featured delicious drinks and desserts from around the world.

  • Veggie Village was a vegan festival inside the Night Market. Imagine a plant-based food lover’s dream come true.

  • The International Beer Village had signs from South America, Europe, etc. and featured a huge selection of beers from around the world as well as local craft breweries.

My favorite items were the pressed sugar cane juice, Jamaican jerk chicken, as well as the Thai iced tea. I loved the live music and I also enjoyed the samples at the veggie market. Vegan dishes are slowly creeping into my life and I’m a fan!

Overall, this was a spectacular event. Free parking and even a VIP section with REAL BATHROOMS. It does not get better. I can’t wait to attend next year. You won’t miss out because I’ll definitely remind you when you follow me on Twitter.
