I love fruit. It’s sweet, colorful, and delicious.
As a frequent traveler, I’m always worried about buying food and having it spoil. I’ve attempted to pack fruit while traveling – the grapes made it, but the banana didn’t. Nothing worse, than a crushed banana at the bottom of your bag. Also, fruit has a quick expiration date, so you really should consume it within the first couple of days of purchase. When travelers are on the go, we don’t always have access to fruit.
I was very happy to preview: Crunchies. Crunchies offer a hassle free snack of freeze dried fruit and veggies. It’s healthy, organic, and it’s a snack that brings a lot of flavor.
First, off the snacks are DELICIOUS. Strawberries, mango, berries – oh my! Each bite burst with flavor.
As you guys know, I love products with a story. Crunchies are the only freeze-dried fruit company who owns their supply chain from field to fork. They source fruit directly from farmers who grow it and with the code on each bag you can figure out the growing region. Love knowing where our food comes from!
I have taken Crunchies with me everywhere: picnics, plane rides, and even the movie theater. Have you noticed how healthy foods lack flavor? Crunchies knock it out the park. My mom is from the island of Trinidad & Tobago and she said the mango crunchie tasted like the sweetest mango off the tree. When you win over mom, that’s when you know it’s good.
What also makes the mango fruit great – there is no mess! You get the juicy flavor of a mango without the sticky hands. Winning.
My favorite was mango and my mom loved the beets!
