If you want to impress your date, this is the best lounge to visit in Atlanta. The Red Phone Booth transports its patrons back to the Prohibition Era. This place exceeds the standard of any lounge you’re looking for in Atlanta.
Secret Speakeasy Vibes
The Red Phone Booth is a secret cocktail & cigar lounge, also known as a speakeasy in the Prohibition Era. Keeping up with the theme, the secret entrance is a Red British Telephone Phone Booth. The lounge is open to the public, but you need to know the code to get in.
I’m sure people walk by the Red Phone Booth everyday not knowing what’s inside. I’m here to tell you that’s it’s worth it. GET THE CODE.
Hint: Be friendly and ask the staff at Amalfi Pizza, the Italian pizzeria upstairs. They may or may not give it you, but you didn’t hear that from me.
Exceptional Cocktails
This is the only lounge in Atlanta where the cocktail menu is a book. Sit by the bar and watch the mixologists work their magic. I’ve seen them use chisels to craft ice globes. My favorite cocktail of all time is a penicillin, where they scorch candied ginger with a fire torch.
Cigar Connoisseur
If you’re a lover of cigars, they have a diverse selection to choose from. I’m not a smoker. In fact, I hate going to establishments that allow smoking. This place is so well ventilated, that I will continue to visit and recommend this for co-workers, dates, old friends and people visiting from out of town.
Dress Code
Ladies and gentlemen, dress to impress! Men should wear shirts with collars and no athletic attire. Women, you guys know what to do.
Private Entertainment Venue
In the back of the lounge, there is a private space you can reserve for parties and gatherings. The lounge offers additional seating, flat screen televisions and the billiard table.
