5 Best Places For A Coffee Date In Atlanta
1. The Dancing Goats Coffee Bar
They have two locations in Atlanta, but I highly recommend the Ponce City Market location. It has a lively atmosphere, fun couches, and floor to ceilings windows that bring in a lot of natural light. The great part is that this location is next to several restaurants and a rooftop miniature golf course. If the date is going well, there are plenty of other options within walking distance.
2. Condesa Coffee
Condesa Coffee has an industrial, modern feel. Whether you’re wearing heels and a black dress or jeans with a hoodie, you will fit right in. This cafe and espresso bar is known for its friendly baristas and amazing coffee, but it’s making the list for having a full service bar. That’s right – come for the cocktails as well. There are also some light bites on the menu to share with your date.
3. Amelie’s French Bakery
I love this place! It’s eccentric, quirky and whimsical. It makes me feel like I’m in a French version of Alice in Wonderland and I’m having tea with the mad hatter. Trust me, it’s a good thing. Vivid artwork fills the walls – so there will be a lot to discuss. This location use to be open 24/7 but it has resumed to normal business hours. Enjoy the french bakery with its fresh breads and sweet treats.
4. Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee
I love places that have a story. Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee grows and harvests its coffee in Rwanda. By supporting this coffee shop, you are also supporting several farmers and humanitarian projects such as the Bwenda Water Project. The coffee shop has lots of photography from Rwanda, rustic vibes, and the staff is very knowledgeable and serves a high quality coffee. There is plenty of parking in Atlantic Station and if the date goes well – you can enjoy a movie across the street at Regal Cinemas. They also have another location in Roswell for anyone in the OTP vicinity. We haven’t forgotten about you guys!
5. SIP The Experience
SIP The Experience has a great patio and has a nice selection of coffee. You have your traditional french press, espresso, but then you also have a wide range of unique flavors: raspberry truffle, coffee toffee, and chocolate banana frappe. This shop is located across the street from Lindbergh MARTA station so it’s very convenient. Bonus points for having a brunch menu and amazing food!
