Decatur is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Atlanta, especially in the spring. If you’d like to enjoy the nice weather, take stroll along the main street of town and you’ll find plenty of restaurants and vendors. Georgia is known for its southern cuisine, so I was eager to check out Revival. The restaurant serves traditional southern supper: Tuesday through Sunday and lunch on the weekend.
We attended the first night of their Georgia Beer Dinner Series featuring Wild Heaven Beers. Executive chef, Andreas Müller, presented a five-course meal: four savory dishes and one dessert to pair with the Wild Heaven Craft Beers. The event is held inside the restaurant in a private room with communal seating for an intimate setting.
The majority of these dishes are exclusive to the event, so this is truly a unique dining experience for food and beer connoisseurs.
The remaining events for the 2016 Georgia Beer Dinners are:
- June 14: Three Taverns Craft Beers
- June 16: Creature Comforts Brewing Co.
- June 18: Twain’s Brewery
If you love beer, you don’t want to miss the next event! Enjoy.
