Traveling in and out of cities is exhausting and I’m always yearning for a place that feels like home. More Quarters is the perfect place to get away from the flocks of tourists and relax in an upscale apartment with superior customer service.
Handwritten welcome note and light snacks upon arrival.
How to Get There:
The Concierge Travel Service can arrange your transfer to the hotel as well as provide a guide and transportation to any activity: Table Mountain, the vineyards, and any other excursion you wish.
After traveling two days via train, I was pleasantly greeted by my driver. I appreciated the punctuality and friendliness. He seemed genuinely interested in my journey and gave wonderful recommendations for activities in Cape Town.
Modern design and style for the bedroom.
Every apartment has en-suite bathroom – complete with a bathtub and toiletries.
Vanity mirror and dresser. There’s plenty of closet space and a safe for valuables.
Living room has a private balcony and plenty of seating to entertain.
Herb Garden – Fresh and Local Ingredients for Breakfast
Access to the sister property – Cape Cadogan – Wifi throughout the common areas
Handwritten weather card for the following day – Nice touch during down service
Why More Quarters?
I stayed at More Quarters for three nights and each day they lived up to their brand promise: More People, More Places, & More Services. The staff checked in with us daily and inquired if we needed anything in regards to our apartment or activities for the day. No task or concern was too big or too small.
I’m a big foodie so the front desk made the reservations to dine out to several places in town as well as arranged a cooking class. Want to check out Table Mountain? The staff will gladly check the wait times for the cable ride as well as book your tickets for you. Alan, the property manager, was friendly and professional during check-in. He gave us a map and showed us how to get to museums, restaurants, and the water front. More Quarters provided excellent customer service that ensured we experienced more places during our stay.
Arrived to Table Mountain in 15 minutes and skipped the line – Thank you More Quarters!
Our cooking class was located in the most photogenic part of Cape Town: Bo-Kapp Neighborhood on Wale Street.

As a fellow foodie who loves to cook, I think I am most impressed with the fresh herb garden. That is a top notch and incredibly thoughtful touch. Next time my travels send me to South Africa, I might have to give these guys a try. 🙂
